I will be accepting new clients in January 2025

Embracing Ease

Holding space for others while accepting the complexity of your life doesn’t need to be constant struggle.

Let’s slow down and honor your present experience with tenderness and care.

anxiety-worry-spiritual-path -

Supporting Others On Their Spiritual Journey Has Allowed You To:

  • live a more meaningful and fulfilling life
  • make a positive impact in this world; and
  • share what has been so beneficial in your own life.

But the heart-opening experiences that motivated you to choose this professional path in the first place have been eluding you.

Lately, you’ve been finding yourself:

  • Anxiously running from one class or appointment to the next, offering others your warmth and compassion, while feeling empty and depleted inside.
  • Worrying about how to stand out from your “competitors” so you can make a living, when all you want to do is be of service.
  • Consuming training after training, never feeling confident enough to guide others in a meaningful way
  • Advising your students or clients to do things that you don’t have time to practice anymore yourself.

When you can finally devote some time to your personal practice, more often than not you might actually be feeling uninspired and judgmental of yourself for “still being so messed up after years of practice”, which fuels your impostor syndrome.

erik-brolin-unsplash

It often feels lonely and disheartening,

when your desire to contribute to a better world turns out to be frustrating and depleting, instead of being a nourishing experience for you and the people you serve.

Rarely do we have the supportive environment we need to welcome this overwhelming experience with care, compassion and a deep understanding of what is actually going on in us in those challenging times.

If you are lucky, your spiritual teacher and your community members might give you the support you need.

But more often, we hear things like this:

  • “Don’t feel discouraged! You can try this technique, or this practice, or go to this healer and you will be fine!”
  • “This is what the spiritual path is all about: purification! You have to see the dirt before you can see the light!”
  • “Your expectation to be the perfect example for others is in your way. Don’t let your ego poison your path!”

I know how painful and confusing it feels to hear this when you are already doubting your heart’s calling: I have been there too!

Hi, I’m Charlene,

I believe that healing is a magical moment that takes you by suprise.

Together, let’s create the supportive conditions for this magic to arise!

Tina’s Story

Before the session

“I was suffering from chronic pain for 10 years before my session with Charlene. I booked this session after trying so many other treatments and healing modalities, because during the 6 weeks before my session with Charlene, my pain got very flared up. So, coming to this session, I was very afraid to be in my body with all this pain. I was constantly trying to move away from my pain by being in my head.”

After the session

“My session with Charlene felt like a blessing. It was so supportive. It left me with feeling hopeful that I can heal from my chronic illness. Charlene used many incredible words, during the yoga nidra practice she guided me into, that felt so resonant in my whole body. The whole session was like infusing my body with so much love, so much compassion, and so much insurance that I have the power within me to heal. Or if I can’t change my pain, to just be with it with compassion. And it was not only the words Charlene used, it was the essence of the experience of love that she was transmitting during this practice that was so nourishing and healing.”

As practitioners, we often think that our practice is going well when we feel grounded, open, and connected.

It is then easy for us to engage and be compassionate to our clients and students. It feels good to embody the benefits of our path in this way.

However, life naturally wants to heal itself, that is why your inner journey is not linear.

When energy flows more freely in your system and you feel safer in your own skin, you become aware of the parts of you that are still frozen in the past. It often feels very disturbing and demoralizing to go through this phase.

Many of us think that “we have fallen back, lost our peace, done something wrong, or that our practice is not working anymore.” We become judgmental, ashamed, and often angry with ourselves.

There is a way for you to embrace both the comfortable and the unsettling experiences that arise on your inner journey without giving them the power to define you. A way to embrace change as your healing path.

I will be honored to show you how.

Are you holding onto a perspective that isn’t serving you?

If you can identify with the “old perspective” described below, please know that it is not something to be ashamed of. It does not mean that you have fallen short as a practitioner, or that you have been heading in the wrong direction from the beginning of your path.

anxiety-tailored-spiritual-practice

OLD PERSPECTIVE

You put a lot of pressure on yourself to do your inner work. You hope to get rid of your old ways of being and thinking that prevent you from become a better version of yourself.

NEW PERSPECTIVE

When your spiritual endeavour is based on the feeling that“right now I am not the person I should be.” you create a conflict between your present situation and the ideal future version of yourself that you’re striving so hard to create. Peace cannot arise from this inner conflict.

To access the peace that you are longing for, what you need is to support yourself with integrating the part of you that does not feel safe and at ease in your life right now. It’s about welcoming all the parts of yourself with compassion and love instead of trying to get rid of them.

trauma-yoga-nidra-healing

OLD PERSPECTIVE

Even though you have done so much work on your triggers,  you still find yourself reacting to them in the same way.

This makes you think: “I understand where this emotion comes from. I have already worked on it so many times! I have prayed over it. I should be done with this! How can I help others when I feel like I’m still so shaky.”

NEW PERSPECTIVE

The moment you perceive something in you as a problem that you need to “be done with”, you create a division within you. Your “anger” or “sadness” or “pain” becomes like an enemy you want to get rid of. Treating your suffering as something separate from you in this way prevents you from healing.

You can only heal what you allow your heart to be touched by. If you support yourself to care for this unwanted part of you, you will find the change you are longing for.

Everything I’ve described with the “old perspective” is incredibly common. You are not alone. It is just a biological reaction, embedded in your nervous system to keep you safe.
It is simply something to be aware of and explore, with curiosity and tenderness.

If you’re on this page right now, it’s a sign that you are ready to integrate this protective mechanism and evolve your nervous system to align with who you’d love to be.

charlene-yoga-nidra-teacher

Hi, I’m Charlene

I want you to know that you’re not alone with what you are experiencing. I have my own lived experience with struggling to integrate the different parts of me with tenderness, appreciation and love, while trying to support others to do so too. It’s been a long journey and when I was going through it, I felt completely alone and misunderstood by my spiritual teachers and peers.

When I first started practicing yoga and meditation I could really feel that it was helping me live a more peaceful life. I had so much faith and conviction that I was on the right path. However, after 10 years of deep commitment to my spiritual path, I was still finding myself reacting against my physical and emotional challenges as they arose. I thought that after all this time, I would have more resilience and that my challenges wouldn’t affect me in the same way as when I first started. But I was still struggling and it made me worry that I was a bad practitioner or that something was wrong with me.

Then, a distressing physical challenge arose. A lot of intense emotions came up for me in this time and it really made me doubt whether yoga and meditation worked. It ended up taking me two years to integrate how I was feeling.  It was a period of profound hopelessness.

I know a lot of people feel this too. At some point on our path, we all experience a challenge that is bigger than what we are able to welcome. Most of the time this is when people lose their faith and stop practicing.

I worked with so many yoga and meditation teachers, therapists, and healers, doing hours and hours of daily practice. None of their teachings and advice seemed to help me find, within myself, the serenity I was longing for.

What I finally discovered was that the solution was so much more simple than I had been making it…

One Morning, One Simple Choice Transformed Everything.

In a restorative yoga pose, supported by many cushions and blankets, I finally allowed myself to simply feel hopeless; to be with the fear of being swallowed by it, instead of trying to change it. This shifted everything.

In this moment, I wasn’t afraid anymore to simply feel what I felt. This simplicity allowed me to hold the complexity of the past experiences that were surfacing, and to finally support this part of me to settle into presence.

I felt free, as if the blessing of of those years of practice finally landed in me.

I don’t want you to struggle in the dark for as long as I did.

My role in your private sessions is to support you in finding this simplicity within yourself. To help you feel safe and supported enough that you can be with your experience without resisting it or numbing it.

In this way, you will be able to reinvent yourself consciously and to share more of your gits with this world.

I can’t wait to support you on this journey!

What Does It Mean To Embrace Ease?

Embracing Ease is all about learning how to embody your experience fully, with awareness and tenderness, witout needing to change it.

Most of the time, when we feel activated in our lives, we automatically want to get rid of our discomfort and we try to find a way out of it. Our nervous system is just geared this way. When we walk our spiritual path, this biological trait is so hard to change. So many of us try to use our spiritual practice to transform what we dislike about ourselves and our lives. However, by doing so, we often don’t offer ourselves the care that we need to deeply heal and grow.

Learning to discover how to offer yourself this care, in difficult as well as in comfortable moments, is at the heart of this healing process. This is what will enable you to find enough loving presence within you, to be in relationship with your inner challenges, without being so identified with them that you feel you need to fix them.

Through this inner softening, healing lands in you, simply because you are now able to feel what you feel.

The Benefits Of This Healing Process

vagus-nerve-anxiety-yoga

Restore Your Inner Peace

When we are overwhelmed, we often feel that something is wrong with us. But overwhelm is not a mistake. It’s just information that your nervous system is sending you to help you grow. It basically means that some energy is stuck within you. The discomfort you’re experiencing is a sign that this energy is ready to flow back to life.

These healing sessions will increase your ability to find enough of safety and relaxation within you to naturally welcome this transformation into being. Going through this process will deepen your resilience and your vitality. You will also feel more confident in your own path and in your capacity to serve others, with ease, curiosity and warmth.

yoga-nidra-anxiety
Deepen Your Spiritual Practice

All spiritual practices aim at expanding our ability to be more present. However, when we are feeling unsettled, it’s very hard to be present. This difficulty is not a mistake. It’s only showing that one of your defence mechanisms is turned on. That’s why you’re unable to be with your experience. It’s nothing to be ashamed of,  only a biological reaction that needs to be explored.

Rather than pushing through your discomfort, we will focus on relaxing and nurturing you to restore a sense of ease in your nervous system, up to the point where it actually feels pleasant to be in your body. This will naturally expand your capacity to feel grounded and to enjoy sensing your inner life. Accessing this simple joy of being with yourself will make it easy for you to move mindfully and meditate.

Be Less Reactive In Relationships

Do you often wish you could feel less activated, confused, angry or sad in your relationships – whether it is your co-workers, clients or in your personal life? After all these years of practice, you feel ashamed that you still let your emotions get the best of you and you feel like you’re not enough practitioner as a result.

Often times, we are still struggling with our emotions because we’re not willing to simply be present with what we feel.

These sessions will provide you with all the resources and support you need to see that the part of you that you want to get rid of is actually part of your intelligence – a solution you had found to survive – that needs to be updated.

It is a part of you that need to be understood and integrated into love. This integration is key to transform your relationships with others.

Learn How To Trust Yourself & Honor Your Needs And Boundaries

We so often try to embody compassion on our spiritual path. We all would love to be this ideal yogi whose heart is so open that everyone is welcome. The truth is that we cannot force our heart into openness when it hurts. We need to fully integrate our past. Until we do this, we need healthy boundaries to protect ourselves.

We all have a biological need for regulation — to feel seen, listened to and that our needs matter. In these sessions, you will be invited to feel what is comfortable, safe, and supportive for you.

By doing so, you are rewiring your nervous system and your brain to take into account your biological needs for regulation. A need that is was often dismissed while we were growing up. This simple choice will not only help you self-regulate, it will also enhance your capacity to attract relationships that are supportive for you, and enable you to put appropriate limits on unhealthy ones.

creativity-intuition-yoga

Nurture Your Creativity

Creativity is about choosing how to define yourself. It’s choosing not to reenact the past. When you are able to be creative with your inner world, it’s so much easier to manifest your creativity in the outside world.

This form of creativity depends on how deeply connected and intimate you are with your inner experience. If you feel unsettled, you’re probably finding it hard to connect with your body. This is a natural reaction. A part of you is in pain and your nervous system is trying to protect you by drawing your attention somewhere else. In those times, connecting to the sensory pleasure of being alive is often the most efficient way to reassure your nervous system.

This is why, the first step of this process is about honouring what feels pleasant, comfortable and safe in you. When you actually spend more time connecting with pleasant sensations during your practice, you become less and less identified with the painful part of you. That’s an essential shift on your spiritual journey, because it means that there is enough presence in you to become aware that you are much more than your pain. This will help you integrate your pain into love. That’s creativity!

resilience-stability-yoga

Expand your Intuition

In the spiritual world, it is often taught that you need to clear and cleanse energy to remove the blockages that hinder your psychic sight. This can sound really advanced.

But really, what we know from the research around trauma is that it can be a lot simpler than that. It’s all about finding a resting space within yourself: a space where you can safely land into your body to gently allow yourself to feel your experience, without being re-activated by it.In this way, we fully integrate them, so our life energy can flow through us again.

The more you allow yourself to simply be with your experience in this way, the more intuitive you become. Before we are integrated, we often feel in conflict with ourselves and block ourselves from hearing our intuition. When we are clear on who we are and able to act in integrity with ourselves, then become easier to make the best decision for yourself, simply because the messages that you receive from within you are consistent.

This coherence often manifests as self-confidence, trust, or intuitive knowing.

Sarah’s Story

Before my 1:1 session

“I was really anxious, speedy and judging myself for not putting on the effort and the time I needed to do my personal practice. I was busy thinking about which training I could do after the one I was about to complete, to be a better yoga teacher, never feeling that I have enough knowledge to be good in this role.“

After my session

“My session with Charlene was so beautiful and really magical! She has a gift for sensing exactly what I need. Charlene holds space for me with a lot of spaciousness. I was so comfortable in my session with her that it allowed me to go deeper in my yoga nidra than ever. This session made me really appreciate the beauty of practicing in this way and help me realize that doing this was just enough to support myself and others on their healing journey. This is true medicine.”

How Can We Work Together?

75-minute transformative sessions consisting of somatic exploration and energy healing, tailored just for you.

What To Expect From Each Session?

This will not feel at all like a typical private yoga class. Each session incorporates an energy healing, based on my 10 years professional practice as an acupuncturist and a reiki master. That’s what gives these sessions their transformative healing power.

Each session will have the same main objective: to connect you with your natural potential for resilience, inner peace, and contentment. I can assure you that a wise part of you knows how to unlock this potential within you.

By adapting the content of each session to your unique needs, we will reignite your confidence in your ability to hold your experience with openness, curiosity, and compassion. When you will be able to do this, you will feel nurtured and inspired to continue your spiritual path, in your own unique way.

These sessions are not meant to replace your existing practice. They are here to deepen and rekindle your enthusiasm for your personal journey.

Optional Step 1: Book A Discovery Call

After reading the information on this page, if you are still unsure whether this healing process is what you need right now, I invite you to book a 60-minute discovery call with me. This call is complementary and is only here to help you decide if I am the right person to support you or not.

During this call we will address any questions and concerns you might have regarding the sessions. I believe it is also very important for you to get to taste one of the healing tools that you could eventually explore further if you choose to work with me. This is why when you register for this call, I will ask you few questions to be able to tailor the short practice I will offer you accordingly.

Before You Get Started…

I believe it’s incredibly important for you to know exactly what to expect from our work together.

Not only does this bring you a sense of comfort to understand the process I will lead you through, but it also ensures that you’re physically and emotionally safe during our sessions. That’s why I’ll get you to fill in a liability waiver before we meet, so you are well-informed of how I can and can’t support you. This is a way to establish clear and secure boundaries between us.

Here’s the link toward the liability waiver document.

Step 2: Your Intake Session

In order to learn about your unique needs, I will also ask you to book a 60-minute intake call with me. This is to learn more about you, by asking you few questions to have a clear understanding of your challenges, your goals, and your expectations for your healing sessions. I will also lead you into short explorations to get a better idea of which healing tools will resonate with you the most. This intake session will enable me to customize the most appropriate healing process for you, to ground you and restore your serenity straight from our first 2-hours healing session together.

The cost of this intake call is included in the price of your first session. When you book your first session you will first make an appointment for this 60-minute intake call with me. Then, I will send you a private link to schedule your 2-hours transformative session at no additional cost.

I will need at least 3 working-days in-between the intake session and the transformative session to integrate the information I will have learn from you into a personalized healing process.

Step 3: Your First Session

When we feel activated, the scariest place to be is in our body. That is the reason why we spend so much time overthinking: what we cannot feel, we need to overthink. This is also why we feel more tensed, and often experience physical pain in those times: contraction is a natural way to feel less. We also speed up from one activity to the next, and skip our practice because we are too afraid to land in our body.

This fear is not a mistake. It’s just something to explore. But before being able to dive into this, what you need is to find a pathway into feeling comfortable, at ease, and safe in your body.

This is why, during your first session, you will learn how to reclaim your natural ability to feel good in your body, to rest, and to relax.

To do so, we’ll explore grounding practices like:

  • Restorative Yoga & Yoga Nidra.
  • Simple gesture to release the control of the meridian governing your reactivity.
  • Self-massage and acupressure so you can receive the healing energy of the earth.
  • Toning, breathing, and healing gestures to reassure and revive your vagus nerve.
On the long run, the practices you will learn during this first session will help you welcome all your inner and outer challenges, while remaining grounded, awake, and compassionate towards yourself.

Magali’s Story

Before the session

“I asked Charlene for a session because I was feeling confused and blocked by something that was happening in my professional life. As a result, I was doubting my own spiritual practice and the path I had chosen. I needed clarity and new perspectives.”

After the session

“During my session with Charlene, I felt seen and understood. As a result, the whole process felt natural and fluid. Charlene’s voice gently guided me to a deeper place within myself. After the session, I felt relaxed, calm and anchored in a lighter place. The ultimate gift was a renewed vitality.

I realized the true value of my practice and how much I am able to welcome support and let go as a result of it. After this session, I felt more receptive and attuned to what is beneficial for me and I am able to adapt my existing spiritual practice to my needs more intuitively. Trust the process, you’ll be surprised!  MERCI, MERCI, MERCI, Charlene. “

In-Between Your Healing Sessions

When you’ve completed your first healing session, if you feel the need to sincerely share your process with me before taking another 2-hour sessions, I would love to be here for you. This is why I have created ‘’Witnessing Sessions’’.

These sessions are here for you to be able to have a safe, and non-judgmental space to openly share what is alive in you. They are not made to help you process what you are going through, like psychotherapy does. They are also not made to help you go deeper in your healing process, or to receive advices.

In this session, I am here to be with you, and to be lovingly present to your inner world with you, so that it becomes easier for you to be with yourself, and simply feel what you feel.

Sometimes people need to talk a lot during these one-hour sessions. Sometimes people prefer to stay silent with me most of the time. Both of these scenarios are welcomed to this witnessing space.

My wish for you is that at the end of this hour together, you feel seen, heard, felt and cared for… and therefore, more grounded with the natural flow of your life.

Our Spiritual Path Is Never A Linear Journey.

It is more like the constant cycles of the moon, spiralling from darkness into light, and vice versa.
moon-cycles-spiral-spiritual-journey

When we start our spiritual journey, many of us think that we will diligently do the practices given by our teachers and consequently, our life will become less and less difficult, more and more manageable. Even if this belief can feel true at some point on your path, it describes only a small part of your spiritual journey.

Life is up and down, and whether you have a spiritual practice or not, you will face challenges. Sometimes, those adversities will exceed the resilience you have developed and cultivated through your practice. Sometimes, your practice itself will reveal your inner resistance to life. Your spiritual practice will not give you any control over this.

However, the attuned to your inner experience you become, the less aversion and struggle you will have when challenges arise. You will become more kindhearted towards what is happening inside you, when you will find yourself being reactive, or being in pain. Simply because you will have the outer and inner resources to come back to the best part of you.

Here Is How I Can Support You Through The Different Phases Of Your Spiritual Journey:

restorative-yoga-nidra

Phase 1: Rest, Soften, Regenerate

If you need to find more relaxation and serenity within your body, we might explore practices like restorative yoga and yoga nidra to restore a sense of ease and safety in your nervous system.

We might also add some gentle hatha yoga focusing on stability, grounding, and activating your inner core. As well as calming breathwork, and energy work to help you receive the energy of the earth. It all depends on your preferences and what supports you the most.

This first phase is often deeply healing. Lot of transformation happens by learning how to better embody your experience. This is a phase I encourage you to visit again and again on your spiritual journey.

healing-relationship-earth

Phase 2: Deepen Your Relationship With Your Inner Wisdom

We can move onto this phase if we have established that you are capable of grounding and resourcing yourself well.

At this stage, you might still feel disconnected from your inner voice and we need to support you descending into your body, to lessen the chatter of your thinking mind. When your rational mind will become more silent, it will be easier for you to hear your intuition and see where it wants to guide you.

For this, we will explore practices like yoga nidra, gentle hatha yoga, yin yoga, aura clearing techniques, and creative inquiries.

resourcing-joy-inspiration

Phase 3: Transform Your Obstacles Into Healing

If you want to get to a place where you are able to release the limiting beliefs and negative judgments held in your body to genuinely align with the best part of yourself, that is also possible.

However, we cannot jump into this life-changing work from the first session onwards. For your own safety, I will need to be sure that you are able have all the resources you need prior to start this more challenging part of the process.

Breathwork, Yin Yoga, Yoga Nidra, so many energy techniques, and creative investigations can be combined at this stage, for you to grow your ability to fully embody the infinite love that you truly are.

Those practices are more advanced, and they often take more time and more engagement from you, in terms daily practice.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I know if I am ready to do this work?

If you feel a resonance with the message and the energy of this website and feel understood, and seen when you read some of the content of its pages, it’s very likely that this healing sessions will be able to support your needs.

If you still feel hesitant about starting this healing process, I encourage you to take some time to feel how the thought of trying one session with me is landing in your body right now.

  • If while imagining you booking a session, you feel a contraction inside you: it might not be the right time for you to try this.
  • If you feel an opening and a relaxation: you are probably ready to start this healing journey.

Another good way to know if you are ready for this work and if it is for you is to book a free discovery call with me! To do so, please click here.

How many sessions will I need?

The amount of healing sessions you may need will vary depending on your goals.

Healing is often not a linear process. I believe that long-term sustainable change and transformation is a process that does not involve a ‘quick fix’.

Some people come to this healing process for a few sessions to address some very recent emotional or physical challenges. Others come looking to do deeper work around chronic emotional or physical afflictions, which may span over a few months to a year.

Many people return to this healing process from time to time as needed or to take the next step in their personal growth journey.

This healing process will be most effective when you commit to a regular and consistent personal practice.

Generally, sessions occur weekly or fortnightly to begin, but this also depends on what works for you and on the intensity of the challenge you are facing right now. Together, we’ll assess your needs and what is going to work best for you. We’ll continue to check in and discuss our work together as we go.

Choice is an important part of this healing process. This means you can end the healing relationship with me at any time, take a break, or alter the frequency of your sessions.

What is the weekly time commitment?

Ideally, we would meet every other week for 2-hour sessions.

In-between our sessions, I might encourage you to practice with some of the pre-recorded practices available in the free resource’s library of my website. This personal practice is completely optional. If you chose to do it, it will facilitate and speed-up your healing process.

Since all sessions are on Zoom, do I have to be on-camera, or can I have it switched off?

I will ask you to turn your camera on for the entire session. This is for you to gain full benefit of a private session. By seeing your body language, the way you move, and the way you breathe, I will be able to adapt the content of our time together to your unique needs. You can show up with hair askew and even in your pyjamas! I won’t mind this at all!

However, you won’t need to be looking at the screen the entire time of the session. I will actually encourage you not to do so since the entire process is based on an inner exploration. You will probably have your eyes closed or your gaze lowered for most of the time. But I will need to be able to see you.

What can I do to prepare for our time together?

Here are a few things you can do to get the most out of our time together…

Please make sure your environment is as quiet and calm as possible. Be sure you won’t be interrupted by your family, co-workers, pets, incoming emails, or texts.

At least two days before our session, please check the pdf and links that you will have received from me. Then start gathering all your possible props in the room where you will be during our session.  This will enable you to have everything ready without the stress of finding your props 10 minutes before we start.

A few minutes before we connect, it can be helpful for you to quiet your mind. You can take a few deep breaths, do some gentle movement or spend a few moments outside in the fresh air.

After our conversation, give yourself a little time and space. Rather than immediately rushing along to your next task or appointment, allow yourself ten to thirty minutes to integrate the full benefits of your session.

Do you offer reduced fees for your healing sessions?

Unfortunately, because I am a private somatic healer, I am not funded by any other means, so I don’t offer reduced fees or payment plans for healing sessions.

If my prices are really over your budget but you still feel that you would love being supported by me, do not hesitate to email me, mentioning what is your main challenge right now. To do so, please click here.

If other people share your challenges, I might be able to offer you small group session exploring this specific need.

Another idea is for you to find someone else you know who would love to do this work with you, explore the same concern, and share the total cost of the sessions between both of you. I will also be opened to this possibility.

What issues or challenges do you not work with?

I will not be able to work with you if you have a history of:

  • substance-use disorders
  • mental disorders
  • Chronic depression with medical conditions
  • Chronic panic with medical conditions
  • Suicidal thoughts and behaviours.

For those conditions, please seek the help of a mental health professional immediately. I will not be able to support you if you suffer from any of those symptoms, since I am not qualified to do so.

I’m so busy I don’t know I have time or headspace to commit to this healing process, how do I know I can do this?

When we feel overwhelmed, the scariest place to be is in our body. We speed up from one activity to the next, and skip our practice because we are too afraid to land in our body. That is the reason why we spend so much time overthinking: what we cannot feel, we need to overthink. This is also why we feel more tensed, and often experience physical pain in those times: contraction is a natural way to feel less.

Feeling so busy that you don’t know if you have time or headspace to commit to this healing process is simply a sign that your nervous system is in a state of hyperarousal.

This biological reaction is not a mistake. It’s just something to explore. But before being able to dive into this, what you need is to find a pathway into feeling comfortable, at ease, and safe in your body.

This is why, during your first session, you will learn how to reclaim your natural ability to feel good in your body, to rest, and to relax.

Is this healing process the same as therapy, or a replacement of therapy?

No, this healing process is different from therapy and is not a replacement of therapy. These sessions do not involve any mental health aspects, nor medical advice and cannot replace any of those, or any medical treatment.

If you have a history of:

  • substance-use disorders
  • mental disorders
  • chronic depression with medical conditions
  • chronic panic with medical conditions
  • suicidal thoughts and behaviours.

please seek the help of a mental health professional immediately. I will not be able to support you if you suffer from any of those symptoms, since I am not qualified to do so.

Moreover, these healing sessions are very different from processing your past and present stories through words, like talk therapy often requires. The healing process I offer is based on a spiritual understanding of what healing is all about.

Together we will explore how different styles of yoga, meditation and energy healing can help you meet the challenges you face during and/ or after your practice, with an increased capacity for acceptance, resilience and compassion towards ourselves and others. This is not how a psychotherapist will work.

This process is also somatically based, which means that it’s through attuning more deeply to your physical sensations that the healing will naturally take place, in its own time; not through talking about your history.

This process can change your life, even if you’re thinking…

“I know what to do, I already have all the tools that I need to overcome these difficulties. If I can’t work this out on my own then there must be something wrong with me.”

As a professional, it can feel really hard to reach out for support. We often feel like we just need to practice more intensely to resolve our challenges from inside out. But actually, this heroic mindset that compels us to face our difficulties alone is one of our deepest wounds. I want you to know that as professionals, it’s very natural to feel the need of being supported by someone else on our healing journey. Accepting the help of a trained professional when we feel overwhelmed is actually a sign of a profound understanding of how interrelated we all are.

When we come into connection together, our nervous systems are having a conversation beyond the level of our conscious mind. This relational dimension is very important for healing. As human beings, we evolved to regulate ourselves in the presence of others. The sessions are here to honour this natural interdependence that exists between our nervous systems, so that my nervous system can naturally supports yours in finding your way back to your inner peace. This is not about learning some other healing techniques. It’s another level of understanding that is more energetic.

“I’ve tried therapy and coaching before; it never works for me. How is this different?”

This healing process is very different from therapy. It has nothing to do with processing your past and present stories through words, like talk therapy often requires.

Unlike most therapeutic work, this process is not based on analysing your thoughts, beliefs, and stories. Together, we will explore the whole dimension of who you are: not only your thinking mind, but also your body, your energy, and your emotions. If needed, we can also dive into how your elements work together according to Chinese medicine, and rebalance the ones that might not be working for your highest good. We can also reharmonize your chakras, deepen your connection to your aura ect.

Your intuition and your creativity will guide this healing process and help us understand in which dimensions of yourself are the blockages that create challenges in your life.

This process is also somatically based, which means that it’s through attuning more deeply to your physical sensations that the healing will naturally take place, in its own time; not through talking about your past.

Will this healing process support me if I am suffering from physical pain?

Physical pain, and its debilitating effect on our moods and capacity to enjoy our life, is one of the most difficult experiences to welcome with an open heart. I know how it feels, I have been there too. This very gentle healing process is actually born from my own relationship with physical pain.

During one of my solitary retreats, I pushed myself to sit for too long and as a result I injured one of my knees. It took me 2 years to be able to wholeheartedly accept this injury as part of my spiritual journey. At first, I was resisting it, trying to fix it. Many doctors, osteopaths, chiropractors and healers told me that I needed to learn to live with this pain, that nothing could be done to cure it. However, I kept searching for a way to heal. By weaving together various healing techniques and different perspective, I discovered a way to be with this pain and all the emotional turmoil that came with it. I don’t suffer from this pain anymore.

My left knee is still sensitive and I have adapted my yoga practice around it, as well as my way of sitting when I meditate. I can’t promise you that this healing will be possible for you through this process. But I am positive that it will restore your confidence that even if you can’t cure your pain, you have the ability to hold it with compassion and integrate it as a fulfilling way of being.
